Who We Are

Truth Seeker Ministries began as a Christian family ministering to people on the streets of Harrisburg.   We have expanded to include volunteers from other local churches.   We are chartered with a non-denominational ministry and are registered with the Pa Department of State.   We are simply the Body of Christ making itself available and accessible on the street.   We evangelize, encourage and pray with people;  We offer Free Bibles and Christian materials to everyone we meet. 

Our purpose is to spread the Word of God, either through distribution of printed materials or by the spoken word of mouth.  We are not confrontational; we desire to minister to people that are genuinely seeking (Matthew 10:14).

We proclaim the complete Gospel, which includes; sin, judgment and repentance. We proclaim that the Bible is the literal Word of God, and that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).  We believe that everyone should have their own Bible, and everyone should have an understanding of the Gospel message in order to make an informed decision about their life (Luke 14:26-35).

What We Do

We are a part time,  independent street ministry.  We do not profit financially from this ministry and we are NOT tax-exempt. 

Our first day as an independent ministry began on Good Friday of 2006, when we set up a stand at 13th & Market Streets in Harrisburg with a sign saying "Free Bibles".  

Since that day we have distributed thousands of Bibles in Allison Hill.

Many people have told us that the Bible they received from us is the first Bible that they've ever owned! 

We encourage Believers to come out with us on the street to pray and share their faith. 

It will strengthen your own personal witnessing and you will experience the excitement of impacting other people's lives for Eternity.

We would love to see this ministry duplicated. We challenge churches, ministries and individual Believers to begin similar ministries in their own towns.

It's time for the Body of Jesus Christ to get out from behind the four walls of the church building, and make itself available and accessible on the street.  It is more fun and fulfilling than you realize!
